Kane Chandler is a co-owner of Soil Superfood BioAmendments and a recognized expert in soil microbiology. He has trained with Dr. Elaine Ingham, a leading figure in soil microbiology and the study of the soil food web. His training includes crafting high-quality compost and analyzing it under a microscope to verify the presence of beneficial microbes essential for soil health.
With years of experience in the landscaping industry, Kane has witnessed firsthand the detrimental effects of commonly used chemicals on soil vitality. For the past four years, he has been dedicated to regenerating soils for clients, and now he brings his expertise to gardeners by making his exceptional craft compost products available for direct purchase. Kane is passionate about empowering gardeners to amend their soil effectively, enabling them to nurture healthier plants.
Having always harbored a love for gardening and farming, Kane has found his true calling in compost-making. He is enthusiastic about educating others on soil care and the profound impact it has on gardening, sharing how proper soil management can minimize issues with weeds, pests, and disease, leading to more successful and enjoyable gardening experiences.

Kristin is a co-owner of Soil Superfood BioAmendments. Kristin's background is as a Medical Herbalist and Integrative Health Coach. Through her exploration of natural health solutions, Kristin discovered the crucial role that healthy soil plays in growing nutrient-rich foods and herbs, which are the foundation of achieving a healthy body. This realization fuelled her commitment to improving soil health, which is why she is dedicated to providing high-quality craft compost to gardeners.
In her multifaceted role at Soil Superfood BioAmendments, Kristin is hands-on in the production of compost—engaging in tasks from making and turning to bagging. In addition, she manages the administrative and marketing arenas of the business. With a love for growing her own food and herbal medicines, Kristin recognizes firsthand the difference that healthy soil makes in the quality of what we consume.
